We had 3 members fishing the final
tournament of the year on Banks Lake.
The blast off was at 6:50 am each
day. The weigh ins were
at 2:00 pm on Saturday and 1:00 pm on
Sunday. Inland Empire also had
a tournament on Banks. They
blasted off after us and weighed in
later. The weather was in the
60's on Saturday with moderate winds
which kicked up to 20 MPH by noon
and made the main lake unfishable.
Bill and Dana released their fish on
Saturday. They only had 1 fish
each over 12 inches. Sunday
weather was in the mid 40's at blast
off. It got up to the high
60's with calm winds and sun.
Water temperature ranged from 63 to
65 degrees. Tom caught all of
his fish on KVD 2.5 crank baits in
Shad and Chartreuse colors off of
main lake points and across from
Coulee Playland on Saturday.
Bill said he caught his Sunday fish
by the rock at the entrance to the
Punch Bowl on tubes.
