We had 9 members fishing the second
tournament of the year, the Jamboree
on Banks Lake. The
mornings were in the low 50's
with daytime highs in the high 60's.
There were many smallies on beds,
but it seemed that few bedding areas
replenished by the third day.
Bill was able to get rods for the
kids casting contest from Cabela's
which brought smiles to several of
the participating kids faces.
We had two anglers finish in the top
25 this year. Curt Huisman was
16th and Tom Melowitz was 19th.
Brian Walters, Dana Ingalls and Bill
Hancock each fished only one of the
three tournament days. |
