Our September 9/7 and 9/8 club
tournament was shortened to Sunday only
as club members attended Bill Hancock's
Funeral Services in Spokane.
The wind was blowing 20 mph Sunday
morning with rain and cold temperatures
in the low sixties. That
contrasted to mid 80 degree temperatures
and mild winds for the prior three weeks
made fishing pretty difficult. We
didn't blast off until 7 am and weighed
at until noon. As late as 5:45 am
we were still considering canceling due
to the weather. Curt won with four
smallies caught around Coulee Playland.
Tom said he fished for largemouth until
10 am and never had a bite!
Our September Tournament will now be
called the Bill Hancock Memorial in
remembrance of Bill. |
