Our first club tournament of the year and in a few years was a big success!  We had seven new members join the club for this tournament.  We held this tournament in conjunction with the Puyallup Hawg Hunters tournament.  Puyallup and Banks each had a club tournament for members only.  We also had a combined tournament with a big fish pot and a winners pot.   Results of the combined tournament were:

Saturday saw sun and mild winds with temperatures in low 90's.  Sunday saw strong winds with temperatures in the low eighties.   The water was 4 feet low.  The lake is going to 10 below full pool for maintenance.  Even though there were several largemouths caught fishing for largemouths was not as good as before they started lowering the water.  The Banks Lake Open two weeks earlier saw largemouths as 60% of the fish weighed.   Henry Dover won the tournament by almost  2 pounds and is the 2024 Banks Lake Bass Club 2024 Angler of the Year.  Congratulations Henry!       In 2025 we will have two club tournaments:  The Jamboree and a 8/16 - 8/17 Banks Lake tournament.
